King of Hearts at Southside on Lamar
Fashion and Art always go together. On December 6, we attended an event at Southside on Lamar with not only fashion and art but music as well! At the Jeanette Kennedy gallery the Cuban artist, Rolando Diaz had his "king of hearts" picasso style paintings on display along with Sculptor Hobbes Vincent.
The evening included a live pianist Euforia performance: Rolando Diaz painted a design by Abi Ferrin (our favorite Dallas designer) worn onstage by Dallas Diva, Jan Strimple. Designer Abi Ferrin unveiled her latest dresses with a live monochromatic runway show to complement the performers. Sculpture by Hobbes Vincent, Jan Strimple and model both wearing designs by Abi Ferrin

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2008

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show kicked off in Miami Beach with a special performance by Usher. In attendance were Seal, Heidi Klum, The Kardashian Sisters, Aubrey O'Day, Gabrielle Union, Mario, and Lenny Kravitz. CBS aired the show on December 3rd.
For all of those who missed it they will do an encore replay on December 17th!
All the girls were stunning but my favorite style inspiration from this show was the gladiator look of the brown leather bands and rings on Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima and the wing cuffs.
The finale featured Heidi Klum who resembled a giant christmas present going along with the theme "black tie affair"

Victoria Beckham visits NYC

Style-wise Victoria Beckham is easily one of my favorite celebrities. She does not always get it right on the red carpet, but her street style is impeccable!
The fashion designer who launches her new collection today on www.victoriabeckhamcollection.com, was in New York for the Thanksgiving weekend . . .
On Wednesday she was spotted headed to see Katie Holmes' All My Sons play on Broadway wearing a self designed dress with Balenciaga heels.
On Thursday she wore head to toe black when her family joined the Cruise family for a day at the Circus.
Wearing a Chanel jacket, skinny jeans, a black knit top, Louboutin's and a Chanel vintage purse, she was no doubt the best dressed at the circus.
I loved her look for Friday when she went to see the Broadway show Jersey Boys with her family.
She wore a gorgeous white Marc Jacobs Fall 2007 woolen coat over white wide-legged pants.
